1. Scope and operator
These Terms of Service apply when a customer, prospect, visitor, administrator, creator, student, contractor, or other user accesses or uses Coursovo.
Coursovo is operated by TESTPREP SOFTWARE SOLUTIONS LTD. Our registered office is 10 Odos Apollonos, Office 1, 5290 Paralimni, Cyprus. Company registration number: HE491893. Tax identification number: 60355118X.
Customer, you, and your mean the business, academy, creator, coach, tutor, educator, organization, or individual using the service or accepting these terms. If you accept these terms for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
2. Service
Coursovo provides software for launching and operating online academies. The service may include course builder tools, student portals, landing pages, checkout or payment-link flows, email capture, templates, analytics, automations, AI-assisted setup, support, and related features.
Features, limits, pricing, transaction fees, storage, student volume, custom domains, white-label options, support levels, and billing cadence depend on the plan, order form, checkout page, or written agreement that applies to the customer.
Some MVP features may be experimental, manually supported, invite-only, or not yet generally available. We may improve, add, limit, suspend, or remove features as the product evolves.
3. Accounts and customer responsibility
You are responsible for keeping account credentials secure, controlling administrator access, reviewing student and staff permissions, and notifying us promptly about suspected unauthorized access.
You are responsible for your academy, products, pricing, student communications, sales promises, refunds, support, taxes, compliance, and the legal rights needed to sell or publish your materials.
4. Customer content and AI-assisted setup
Customer Content means any course, lesson, video, PDF, slide, worksheet, file, image, text, brand asset, student data, email, landing-page copy, offer, price, testimonial, claim, or other material supplied, uploaded, generated, approved, sold, or published by you or your users.
You retain ownership of Customer Content. You grant us a limited license to host, copy, process, transform, display, transmit, and use Customer Content as needed to provide, secure, support, and improve the service.
AI-assisted setup can help draft outlines, lessons, landing-page sections, emails, onboarding flows, and launch checklists. You are responsible for reviewing all AI-assisted output before use. We do not guarantee accuracy, legal compliance, educational outcomes, revenue, admissions outcomes, certification, or fitness for a specific learner or market.
5. Payments, taxes, refunds, and student sales
Public pricing may show monthly and annual options. Unless a checkout page or signed agreement says otherwise, fees are payable in advance and are non-refundable except where required by law.
The customer is normally the seller of its own courses, cohorts, memberships, coaching products, downloads, and other student-facing offers. You are responsible for pricing, taxes, VAT, invoices, refunds, chargebacks, consumer disclosures, customer support, and payment-processor rules.
Payment processors, card networks, banks, app stores, and third-party services may charge their own fees. Those fees are separate from Coursovo fees unless a plan or order form says otherwise.
6. Data, privacy, and minors
You are responsible for deciding what student, prospect, parent, staff, and customer data your academy collects and for giving required notices, getting required consents, honoring data rights, and complying with laws that apply to your business.
Where applicable privacy law treats you as the controller, business, or similar decision-maker for academy data, we act as a processor, service provider, or similar service role for that data, except for our own account, billing, security, analytics, support, and business records.
If your academy involves children, minors, school records, health information, regulated education, regulated exams, or professional advice, you are responsible for confirming the required consent, safeguarding, retention, deletion, access, and compliance rules before launch.
7. Acceptable use
You and your users must not use Coursovo to:
- Publish unlawful, infringing, deceptive, defamatory, abusive, exploitative, or unsafe content.
- Violate intellectual property, privacy, student-safety, anti-spam, export, payment, or consumer laws.
- Misrepresent accreditation, official status, endorsements, guarantees, income claims, outcomes, or affiliations.
- Upload malware, scrape the service, bypass security, overload systems, or access data without authorization.
- Use the service for high-risk medical, legal, financial, employment, safety, or regulated professional decisions.
We may remove content, suspend accounts, preserve records, notify affected parties, or cooperate with lawful requests when needed to protect the service, users, third parties, or our legal position.
8. Coursovo intellectual property
We retain all rights in the software, source code, designs, workflows, templates, prompts, data models, product methods, documentation, brand assets, and know-how that belong to Coursovo or TESTPREP SOFTWARE SOLUTIONS LTD.
You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service during the active subscription term according to your plan. You may not copy, resell, reverse engineer, or redistribute the platform or templates outside the service unless we agree in writing.
9. Availability and third-party services
We aim to provide a stable service, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or compatibility with every browser, device, integration, payment processor, email provider, analytics tool, or customer workflow.
Coursovo may rely on hosting providers, payment processors, AI providers, analytics tools, email services, storage providers, and other third-party services. We are not responsible for third-party downtime, fees, policy changes, or data practices outside our control.
10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The service is provided on an as-is and as-available basis except where a signed agreement says otherwise. We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, revenue, lead conversion, student outcomes, exam outcomes, admissions outcomes, or business growth.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Coursovo and TESTPREP SOFTWARE SOLUTIONS LTD will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, exemplary, or lost-profit damages, or for loss of data, goodwill, revenue, students, business opportunity, or expected savings.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising from or related to the service is limited to the greater of EUR 500 or the fees paid by the customer for the affected service during the six months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
11. Termination, governing law, and disputes
We may suspend or terminate access for non-payment, security risk, misuse, rights complaints, data-risk concerns, illegal activity, breach of these terms, or conduct that may harm the service, users, or third parties.
Unless a signed agreement says otherwise, these terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus, excluding conflict-of-law rules. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply. Disputes are subject to the courts of Cyprus unless mandatory law requires otherwise.
